Delhi customs got a clean and big office space near IGI airport and Aerocity

Website doesn't work (while Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata all other customs website works fine), telephone no one answers, email no response. Pathetic situation for citizen to deal with Delhi Customs.

Worst experience EVER in my life. Customs at New Delhi Airport hold my Gold Ring shipped from Jaipur.

They hold and ask for 35000 INR to release it but they did not provide any invoice for it. It is asked directly with my shipping agent.

It has been more then 1 month now and there is no clear information on it. Since 35000 INR is a large sum for no reason, I am not going to pay it. Every day at DTDC website it says arrived at Delhi Airport. DTDC N25836983 I even remember the number.

Custom should not charge for goods going out of country, it is considered as country doing business with overseas and making income. Custom should only charge on incoming items. I may be wrong but asking for 35000 INR without any invoice is dodgy.

This makes me not buy from India even I am Indian - this is ruining country's reputation. I read so many reviews and realise the custom department is scamming people by holding the item, getting it lost and putting in their pocket.

They call it their duty, but they hold a Gold Ring and declare it lost eventually is a biggest scam I have seen in my life.

They pay bribe to become custom officer and now they are ripping people off by doing this.

Mr Modi should look into this.

We don't have Zero star here , so unfortunately have to give one. Read all other comment but I think department dont care :)

No one pick up call , No one will help you on any query. No idea why department is not focusing on proper service as govt spend so much money and almost no service

The worst experience I've ever had with a gov department. I had to pay a hefty amount of custom duty to receive my package from Australia that my gf send me, after waiting for almost 3 weeks at the delhi customs office. It is so bad that they won't even pick up your call when u call their office and no information of the package whatsoever. This is the worst gov department of all.. I had to give 1 star in order to write this review, otherwise I wouldn't even give them a star. Hope they go to hell... 😵😵😵
